I pride myself on taking a no-nonsense approach to VAT. The core principal of my business is the delivery of bespoke solutions to VAT issues for my clients. I will always simplify the issues by addressing the crux of the matter and avoid plotting unrealistic courses of action.

In 1989 I joined HMRC and started work in an import entry section, giving me a great knowledge of imports and exports. When I left HMRC I was working as a VAT inspector, having worked in the cash teams, investigation team and the large trader section. I left HMRC and joined a large accountancy firm where I developed my skills gained with HMRC. I have worked in the accountancy world since 1996 working and I have worked for a top 10 firm. Prior to starting my own company I was the VAT director of a top 40 firm of accountants looking after 12 offices. I have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the complexities of VAT.
